Description
Mercury Notes is a fast and efficient note-taking application, designed with strong cross-compatible tagging functionality (for iOS & macOS only). It uses a highly streamlined interface to reduce any friction to writing down notes as quickly as possible.
History
As a long-time user of the macOS application Notational Velocity, Scott desperately wanted a modern mobile companion app that followed similar principles, and supported native file-system tags. After years of waiting and searching, he finally decided to just make it himself. He chose the name Mercury Notes after the Roman god Mercury – the fleet-footed messenger of the gods, as well as the alchemical element quicksilver.
Features
- All created tags are compatible with macOS native tags, and can be located via macOS' Finder.
- Synchronize your notes easily across all of your iCloud enabled devices.
- All notes are stored in easy human readable files.
- Super fast start up so you can write down your thoughts faster.
- Utilizes Markdown for universal text formatting features.
